An attractive young lawyer who has recently found a haven at Sherry's bar. Araceli seems to be less than completely satisfied with her career choice, and feels more at home in the seedier atmosphere of Sherry's than in the upscale extablishments frequented by her colleagues. Considers the hard-drinking, fun-loving Miriam a "bad influence" on her but rarely shows much desire to avoid her company. Finds Miriam attractive but claims to have no romantic interest in her, nor in anyone else as far as we know.
