Sherry

Miriam’s best friend. Owns a bar and the single unit above it, employing her two roommates. The bar isn’t in the best part of town, and she’s struggling financially as a result. She and Miriam share a sister-like closeness, but Sherry often takes the role of the older, more responsible sibling. Strongly motivated to be a successful bar owner, she rarely drinks because she’s usually working, and has almost no social life outside of the bar, although she's recently shown an interest in trying to change this. She works hard to suppress a crush on Miriam’s boyfriend Chuck, and generally does so by avoiding him as much as possible. Her most loyal customer Clayton seems to have more than a cursory interest in her. The feeling is apparently not mutual.
